A Small Beginning

Well this is a new adventure for me. I have a couple friends/family members who use blogger and I love being able to see what's happening in their lives, or with their kids. I was hoping this might give my friends and family a way to see what the kids are up to since I'm not great at sending updates. But I'll be completely up front and honest - I'm lazy and don't like to take the time to sit down and write so you'll probably find more pictures than anything else. Hey, it's a start.

Today Leslie is getting over "Fifth Disease". Yes, sounds nasty and horrifying but it's basically just a rash and a fever. Starts out with cold symptoms (which she's had off and on for a good 3 months now) then when that subsides, bright red cheeks, which we're thinking came Sunday night. Then a rash which covered her WHOLE body. Tuesday I finally took her to the doctor at DJ's urging, which was good because by the time I got there she had developed a fever. They said without the fever they would have thought dermatitis, which makes sense because I just started using new laundry detergent. Anyway, they said the fever should break within a couple days and then the rash will go away. Sure enough, fever lasted 24 hours, now she's a happy camper again and the rash is very mild. I call her our outbreak monkey because it seems she catches everything! I'm so tired of sick baby!
